DSC_0597biopictLazarus Ramontseng was born in the Free State province of South Africa. He is a self-taught artist who showed his artistic abilities at the early ages of his life. He would draw things for his class teacher and class mates. There was no doubt that he had a special talent as an artist. He grew doing many things: playing sports, working at other companies, and also serving at the Rhema Ministries; his love for art was always there. Even though he did many kinds of jobs to put food on his table, he always believed that art will end-up being his Career and Business one day.

While still pursuing his dream of becoming an artist, he was fortunate to meet Edward Selematsela who helped him brush-up his artistic skills. Through the mentoring of Edward Selematsela, Thyza Stott and Dulcie Robinson, Lazarus developed into a strong artist. Lazarus and Edward`s relationship grew as artists, they realized that they had one thing in common, which was the love and passion for art. They decided to work together and have a Studio In Marshalltown. At the studio, they freate their art Master-Pieces and their work can be displayed on the walls. His love for art is so overwhelming that he even passes it on the others. Both he and Edward Selematsela are part-time art teachers to former street children at the Little Artist School in Hillbrow Johannesburg.

Many of Lazarus paintings have been sold to art collectors locally and abroad through exhibitions and internet sales. His work can also be found in different Galleries around South Africa.
